Our tips for laying the best eco-friendly party table
Creating a good party table for your Child's birthday party doesn't have to be expensive, full of plastic and take ages to set up. Here are our top tips for creating an eco-friendly party table that will be a winner for kids and adults alike.
1) Theme - if you have a theme like pirates, fairies etc you can use this as a basis to plan your table... At Pretty Little party shop you can search by theme and it will show you all the items that work within that theme.

2) Tablecloths.. we like to keep it simple when styling a party table... start with a tablecloth (no plastic please!) - we like paper ones that you can throw in the recycling or material ones that can be washed and reused. Pretty Little party shop has plenty to choose from.. we like this one by talking tables..rainbows are always a winner.

3)Decorations - adding a few paper streamers in your chosen colour scheme are a marvellous way to create colour to a table.. we like these eco ones here..Crepe Paper Streamers | Party Streamers | Paper Decorations – Pretty Little Party Shop
If you have a wall behind the table.. why not add some paper bunting... again this adds a bit of magic to the party area and can be re-used for your next bash. We like this sort of thing.

If you have lights over your table or can hang from your ceiling you could also add paper pom poms on string or paper fans like these from Habitat

4) For the food... If you are eating food at the table.. why not create paper lunch boxes like these Kraft Party Box - Each – Party Packs for all the children (you can get the children to decorate them too if you leave a few felt tip pens around. Inside each box you could add in a few snacks and finger sandwiches wrapped in paper snack bags like these If You Care Paper Snack & Sandwich Bags | Waitrose & Partners try to avoid plastic drinks bottles.. opt for cartons of drink instead. If you would rather have a buffet style you can put the plates of food on the table and each child can have a plate, paper cup with straw - we like these here that are recycled Eco Recycled Party Plates - 12 pk – The Party Pirate
5) Display your party bags! For the final touch... why not add a Craft & Crumb party bag so each child has something to pop their cake into and take home!
