Katie Palmer My son is 6 years old and I bought this as a half term challenge/treat. He was able to read the instructions with help and found it easy to relate to the equipment in the box. He really enjoyed himself and the finished article was very good!

Jess If this was just a decoration kit it would have been perfect. I bought this to do with my 7 year niece who love baking. The decorations and instructions were perfect. The cake mix on the other hand was not great. Maybe we did something wrong but they didn’t rise. It didn’t feel like we had enough mixture to fill everything to 2/3rd and the flavour wasn’t great.
However I made a batch of basic sponge for her to decorate and she loved it. With our own sponge they came out really well.
